We are
Social Action
Inquiry Scotland.
We are here to ask questions, to share stories and to help the future of social action.
Our Journey and Our Purpose
The creation of Social Action Inquiry Scotland came about in 2017 after a group of people began having conversations about the future of Scotland. Find out more about how our journey began, our purpose and where we are now.
Meet the People
We are daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, neighbours, activists, storytellers, people of colour, rural dwellers, urban dwellers, people of faith, queer, neurodivergent, people with disabilities, asylum seekers and refugees, people in recovery.
We are some of the people of Scotland.
Our Approach
We like to challenge convention. Therefore, our approach is based on our values and not deadlines or targets. We see people for who they are, a whole person. We aim to build and nourish relationships to capture stories from across Scotland about what helps and what hinders social action.
Explore The Stories
We are sharing stories from individuals and communities doing social action from across Scotland. From those making recovery from addiction more visible, to those researching into racism in our education system. Not all these stories have the same highlights or struggles, but all of them are worth sharing.
